Neighbourhood Support is a nationwide community-led movement that brings people and neighbourhoods together.  We're part of a network of community organisations that currently support over 200,000 households. 

Top of the South Neighbourhood Support is a registered charity and work alongside our local councils, NZ Police and other partners to strengthen neighbourhoods, making them safer, more resilient and connected places to live, work and play.

We formed in 2020, uniting four well-established organisations with over 20 years experience supporting people in thousands of homes across Marlborough, Nelson and Tasman. We have staff based in the communities that we support ready to help with training, event planning, information, resources or ideas.

Because our staff, volunteers and members live in the neighbourhoods we support, our services are designed by locals, with our resources & environment in mind.

 

We've helped thousands of people in Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough undertake local projects and put on events to improve their neighbourhood. We attend community meetings and get to know the businesses and groups active in neighbourhoods and communities across the Top of the South.
